What challenges have your family overcome during your time at EOCF?
We adopted C. through a kinship adoption. EOCF has helped manage and relieve trauma and emotions from that.
How has this experience shaped your child?
Our child is a very busy kid. Her teachers work with her so well and it shows by how much our daughter likes and cares for them. Her teachers also ask us about our family needs and make us feel welcomed and cared for. They have helped so much with our child’s ability to regulate her emotions.
Is there anything else you’d like to share about your family’s experience?
Due to being in foster care, our daughter has struggled with trust. C. shows love and trust for her teachers which shows us they are doing amazing work and an awesome job with our daughter. Our family is very grateful for the EOCF program.
