Words cannot express how much EOCF means to me. I started working for EOCF in 2011 as a young mom of two.  As the years passed, I gained more early childhood knowledge and furthered my education. I also was able to have many different positions that gave me a deeper understanding of what the programs offered by EOCF can do for children and families. Now I am a mother of five children. Four out of five of my children have been enrolled with EOCF over the years. In August of 2019, I had an emergency C-section at 29 weeks with my youngest. Everything changed for me during that time, but one thing remained the same, I still wanted to work for EOCF. When it was time to return to work, EOCF welcomed me back and there’s no place I’d rather work for.

I love seeing growth in children as they learn new skills and become more independent. I love seeing the growth in families as they take the risks involved in setting goals and stepping outside their comfort zones in order to achieve those goals. I love working with staff as they use their knowledge, skills, and creativity to work directly with children and families and to collaborate with each other for the good of all.

Some of my favorite things about working for EOCF?

1. Working together with staff and families to help children with complex medical conditions and diagnoses, succeed in the classroom.

2. Community Collaborations and ever improving systems and tools to help classroom and family services staff more efficiently and easily complete their health access and compliance work with families.

3. The uniqueness and different personalities and perspectives of such a beautiful staff and seeing and knowing all the amazing daily miracles they do and being able to help and support them.

4. My team of co-workers!
