EOCF – A Legacy of Empowerment for over 50 Years!

Since 1967, EOCF has provided premier early learning and family support programs at NO COST for families with poverty-level incomes or a child with a disability. Current funding only allows EOCF to reach 25% of eligible families. So our community will gather to raise funds to fill the gap between needs and available support.

EOCF Strengthens Young Children — and Parents!

EOCF not only provides quality preschool and childcare; it works with parents, guardians and pregnant women by offering them opportunities to build on their strengths and play a vital role in their children’s education. Parents receive support and training in parenting, child development, disabilities, nutrition and gardening, budgeting, home literacy learning and more. Our parents are mentored to become advocates for their children.

EOCF provides assessments on children’s nutrition, physical, social and emotional development and connections to the community for well-child exams and dental screenings. Children receive 1/3 to 2/3 of their daily nutritional needs in our programs. This is critical for families with food instability. The combined elements of EOCF’s programs support families on their path to self-sufficiency.

Your Opportunity to Be Part of the Solution

Donors have made a significant impact in EOCF’s ability to provide programs that break the generational poverty trend through literacy and early childhood education. Preparing our preschool children for kindergarten gives them a head start on their path to a successful life. With your help, we can work together to strengthen our community by building strong children and healthy families.
