Spreading Winter Cheer
Brrr! It’s been a busy winter at EOCF, but we’ve warmed things up with some fantastic events for our kiddos and their families. We’re all about building community here in Southwest Washington, and these events were the perfect way to bring everyone together for some fun and learning.
Snowflake Art = Free Bagels
First up, we hosted an amazing snowflake-making extravaganza at Starcrest Early Learning Center! Our little artists got creative and designed some incredible snowflakes (check them out below!). Our staff teamed up with Seize the Bagel on NE 99th, who displayed the artwork and gave each artist a certificate for a FREE bagel! We transformed our classrooms into a winter wonderland of creativity, and the kiddos were absolutely thrilled! This partnership was a huge hit with the kids, teachers, and the entire neighborhood!
Why This Partnership Rocks:
We believe in the power of community partnerships, and this one truly demonstrated why they’re so important. It gave our kids a chance to shine and share their creativity with the community, while also boosting community pride. Seeing the snowflake art made everyone smile, and it’s a wonderful way to strengthen connections within the neighborhoods we live in.
Family Gym Night = Epic Fircrest Playtime
Who says winter means staying inside? Not us! We had a Family Gym Night with putt-putt, basketball, parachute games…the whole shebang! Everyone had a blast running around and playing together. Seriously, the smiles were contagious!

Holiday Party Time at Memorial
Of course, we couldn’t forget the super festive Holiday party at our Memorial Site! We decked the halls, filled Santa bags with goodies, played with stacks of books and puzzles, and even had a Christmas light piñata! Our amazing staff brought the holiday spirit, and the food was out of this world! We had everything from yummy snacks to sweet treats – there was something for everyone.

At Educational Opportunities for Children, we’re all about giving kids the best possible start. That means creating a space where families can connect, play, and learn together. And guess what?
